Swansea Cork Ferries sailing from the City of Swansea - Abertawe (South Wales) into the heart of Cork City (County Cork, Ireland) the Swansea Terminal being just a few minutes off the M4 Motorway (Port Talbot) with London just a mere journey time of 3hours away, making the Swansea Cork ferry service a very attractive Irish Sea option.

The old service ceased in 2006 previously it had operated from March in time for the St. Patrick’s day Holidays (St. Patrick - Patron Saint of Ireland - St. Patrick's Day 17th March) and continued until early January, crossing overnight from Swansea, the terminal is located near the newly developing SA1 quarter offering you close at hand Hotel & Restaurant facilities into Cork City which is the closest port to the beautiful Town & Harbour of Kinsale, were you can dine in fine restaurants that you will not forget.

The new ship MV Julia was purchased by the West Cork Co-operative operates under the banner Fastnet Line purchased for 7.8million Euros from Finland, she sailed from Finland on the 16th September, 2009 for her new life in warmer waters of the Irish Sea on the Swansea Cork ferry route, first arriving at Swansea for berthing trials.  After successful berthing trials she set sail for Cork on the 24th September
